Ben has answered some of your questions that you asked last week. Here are the questions and answers.

When did you first have the idea for SimTractor? / Why did you make simtractor?

Around 2000 during a wheat harvest, i was driving and carrying grains, and reading sometimes, the book was about Virtools. Wink

Do you live on a farm? What machines do you have?

I have worked several years on my family farm (dairy and crops farm) after studying. I really had fun to drive the vehicles, most of them are available in Simtractor and few others like a potatoes harvester.

It's nearly been 10 years since you started making SimTractor. What's your plan for the next 10 years?

I plan to keep on the development of SimTractor until i could do it.

What can we expect in the new addon pack?

Keep it secret for now, but i always try to take in considerations the wishs like about the others versions.

Has making simtractor made you proud?

Yes, i proud to have created SimTractor, i think that it was a big missing in the game industry, it wasn't really easy to get it but step by step we achieve the goal. The community support me and help me to do it.

What was in the first version of Simtractor?

Here is a screenshot about ST V2

How many hours on each day have you work on simtractor? / how many hours have you put into simtractor all together?

I really don't know, many...

Do you like to work on update's of this cool farming game?

Yes, i like to do it, it is always a challenge to find another way to simulate another thing in SimTractor, i know that it takes time to do it and tests, sometimes you have to stop a way and start another one until it is the best, so sometimes annoying... But Virtools offers an easy way to do it.

Why did you choose Virtools for making SimTractor?

It was probably the best choice when i began the dev. There are usefull tools to imagine and create with virtools : BBs (like legos), grids.

Dow old were you when you started working on simtractor?

Around 20 years old.

Are you going to make a bigger map in the furture?

I'm working about the update with new addons, but i can't tell you more. There is a new map about this version to replace the Western and Mountain fields

What made you choose the tractors you did to put in the game?

Because, i know the tractor, or got enough informations to model it.

What advice would you give to anyone trying to create a new Game?

Working hard, and always thinking/dreaming about your goal, and of course patience.

Is it worthwhile creating a game? Do you get a sense of satisfaction?

Yes of course, there is a sense of satisfaction when you create something that no one got the idea before. Wink

And i remember that old ST. On school, we were playing that, and looking for a way to get that time gone. We were driving with the machine 40 to the city, when we were there, time was up. Hahaha, good old times xD
